Polyglot Theatre, Australia

ANTS is an interactive roving performance which has giant ants bringing children together in a gentle and intriguing landscaping project. 


Big Jump Entertains You

Big Jump Entertainment will showcase an interactive, multi-media booth featuring Big Words, Small Stories. Children will have the opportunity to colour and learn to draw their favourite characters.

Big Jump Movie Night

Join us on Saturday, May 9 as we hold our first every movie night - brought to you by Big Jump Entertainment!  Start time is 6:30pm in Tent 1, LeBreton Flats Park. Free with the purchase of a ticket to any show during our Festival (May 6-10) or $5 at the door.

The Canada Life OAG Art Tent

During the spring and summer, the Art Tent travels to different festivals and community events in Ottawa to bring the art activities to you! The Art Tent is a fun, friendly and bilingual environment where friends and family can get creative.

Mindfulness Workshops

The Republic of Childhood will offer mindfulness workshop sessions during the Festival to empower your children and increase their confidence. 

OCF Book Nook

Local authors and storytellers will present family classics and original work on our Book Nook stage. 


Kromatik Face Painting

The artists of Kromatik invite you into their unique universe for a thrill ride of high-speed face painting. 


Miss Mills' Puppet Workshops

Miss Mills and her team of Puppet Professors as they guide you to build your very own puppet. 


OPL Game Zone

Come play with giant games, enjoy a good book and more!

Andrew Fleck Children's Services Playground

A Loose Parts Playground - Children and adults are invited to explore and experiment with loose parts.

Salsa Kids

Kids experiment with tempo and rhythm, learn the basic steps to popular Latin dances and have fun using their imagination.

Let's Talk Science

Let’s Talk Science (uOttawa and Carleton University) will be offering two table-top activities each day of the Festival.
