Let's Talk Science
Let’s Talk Science in Ottawa (uOttawa and Carleton University) will be bringing some of their amazing workshops to the Ottawa Children’s Festival. Their workshops contain themed activities with adaptations to meet the Ontario curriculum for different grades and encourage a love of nature and being outdoors. Two workshops per day will be available.
Get creative with corn! Drop by the PlayMais Craft Centre to create a crazy looking monster. PlayMais is a 100% natural crafting material made from corn that is dyed with natural food colours. Simply moisten the PlayMais with water and stick them together. You can squish it, roll it, cut and draw on it. The possibilities are endless... build whatever your hear desires. You can take home your creation.
