Join us on the Festival grounds before and after performances for a variety of fun and interactive activities. Roving entertainers, hands-on explorations and arts activities will let you unleash your creative side!  

 

Weekdays: 9:30am - 2:30pm
Saturday and Sunday: 10am - 4pm
The schedule varies depending on the activity.

The Keepers is an organization dedicated to inspiring kids and adults about the importance of wildlife conservation and responsible pet ownership in a fun, educational and interactive way.

Long and McQuade Instrument Petting Zoo

Instead of goats and rabbits, the Long and McQuade Instrument Petting Zoo includes horns, trumpets, drums and guitars. With professional supervision aspiring musicians can play, play, play!

Let's Talk Science

Let’s Talk Science in Ottawa (uOttawa and Carleton University) will be bringing some of their amazing workshops to the Ottawa Children’s Festival. Their workshops contain themed activities with adaptations to meet the Ontario curriculum for different grades and encourage a love of nature and being outdoors. Two workshops per day will be available.
