Make your mark – Interactive graffiti workshop

Make your Mark gives children and youth a chance to see professional graffiti artists at work and become artists themselves!

Participants will paint their names or initials on cardboard bricks during a workshop on creative lettering techniques. When bricks are complete they will be put up on a cityscape wall surrounding the workshop site, bringing the city to life with their colourful creations!  Staff will be on hand to provide guidance and support, while a graffiti artist paints a piece and fields questions about urban art. This House of PainT project gives participants a chance to collaborate on a large scale art project, while encouraging them to see urban landscape as something they have the power to mould and create.  For more information on the House of PainT festival visit them at www.Houseofpaint.ca.
