A MEADOW IS A NEIGHBOURHOOD
Enjoy this participatory installation that invites young people to consider how to imagine and care for landscapes that they have never seen! Through poetic invitations and getting your hands dirty, you will explore, imagine, and plant micro meadows where future generations of people and pollinators can thrive.

IMAGICARIO
Although a bit clumsy with his long legs and large tail, Waykaru (an inhabited puppet on stilts) is eager to explore the world around him. Friendly and playful, he loves interacting with people and bringing joy to everyone he meets!
Also, don’t miss IMAGICARIO’s Inhabited Puppet Workshop, where they’ll completely disassemble a puppet and share their creative process.

ORBITAL TALENT
We’re happy to annunce the return of Orbital Talent’s team of circus at the Ottawa Children’s Festival! Visit them in Imagineland, where you can learn balance skills, rolo-bolo, juggling, plate spinning, hula hoop, yo-yo, and so much more. Come on by and discover your new talent!

LITTLE LION DENTAL CLINIC
The team at Little Lion Dental Clinic are on a mission to bring smiles to every child in Imagineland! You’re invited to join them on the Great Lawn for a fun-filled day of learning, laughter, and smiles. Kids can enjoy a silly photo booth with playful props, plus hands-on activities that make learning about dental care fun.

LITTLE MEDICAL SCHOOL
Step into the world of science and imagination with Little Medical School Ottawa! Kids ages 4 to 17 can explore hands-on activities, roleplaying healthcare heroes with real medical tools. Get a sneak peek of 500+ hours of fun, STEM-accredited content that sparks curiosity and inspires future healthcare leaders!

PIN-CITY
Dive into a world of creativity with Rockstar Music’s “Pin-City”! Craft your own button badges and choose to keep your design or trade for another on the community’s growing canvas. This interactive exhibit celebrates individuality and collaboration, as each button adds to a collective masterpiece.

SKATE & PLAY
Skate & Play—the city’s ultimate destination for roller skating—is coming to the Ottawa Children’s Festival! Get ready to lace up your skates and roller skate your way around the Great Lawn. With instructors there to help, you’ll be a skating pro in no time.
Please note that skates are subject to a $5 rental fee.

CEPEO
We’re excited to announce that CEPEO will be joining us at the Ottawa Children’s Festival this year! They will be offering a variety of engaging activities, including craft workshops and balloon structures. Be sure to visit them on the Great Lawn from May 11th to 12th.

THE ZOO CREW
Get ready for an exciting animal encounter with The Zoo Crew! Home to a wonderful assortment of small animals, from geckos to chinchillas, The Zoo Crew team will be bringing some of their little critters to the Great Lawn. Don’t miss this wonderful opportunity to engage with these animals firsthand!

WILD BIRD CARE CENTRE
The Wild Bird Centre offers an exciting, hands-on educational experience for visitors of all ages, featuring real bird wings, feet, and beaks from a captivating taxidermy collection. Guests will also have the opportunity to participate in a creative craft activity, making take-home bundles of safe nesting materials to attract and support wild birds in their own backyards.

BUBBLE BIRTHDAYS
Get ready to see both tiny bubbles and giant bubbles! Kids of all ages and abilities to make and pop their own bubbles with wands and solutions provided by Bubble Birthdays. If you love bubbles, you won’t want to miss this amazing experience.

SOCCER SHOTS
Join Soccer Shots on the Great Lawn for exciting soccer activities that promise to keep your little ones entertained! Ottawa’s most trusted program for young children is committed encouraging children and boosting their confidence on and off field.

Exclusively at Arts Court: Katzenkino Kids!
In collaboration with the Embassy of Mexico, Kixta Studio, and filmmaker Sebastián Jaiovi, the Festival is proud to present a collection of Mexican animated short films. Screening continuously from 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM in the DARC Microcinema at the Arts Court Building.
