A MEADOW IS A NEIGHBOURHOOD
This participatory installation invites young people to consider how to imagine and care for landscapes that they have never seen.
Through poetic invitations and getting our hands dirty, we will explore, imagine, and plant micro meadows where future generations of people and pollinators can thrive.
IMAGICARIO
Although a bit clumsy with his long legs and large tail, Waykaru (an inhabited puppet on stilts) is excited to discover the world around him. He enjoys interacting with people and is certainly very sociable and playful by nature!
Also watch for IMAGICARIO’s The Inhabited Puppet Workshop where they completely disassemble a puppet and share their creative process.
ORBITAL TALENT
Orbital Talent’s team of circus artists will be returning to the Ottawa Children’s Festival! Visit them on the Great Lawn, where you can learn balance skills, rolo-bolo, juggling, plate spinning, hula hooping, yo-yo tricks, and much more. Come discover your new talent!
PIN-CITY
Dive into a world of creativity with Rockstar Music’s “Pin-City”! Craft your own button badges and choose to keep your design or trade for another on the community’s growing canvas. This interactive exhibit celebrates individuality and collaboration, as each button adds to a collective masterpiece.
LITTLE MEDICAL SCHOOL
Join Little Medical School Ottawa for a preview of its STEM.org accredited curriculum for children ages 4 to 14, using real medical instruments and hands-on technique. Their engaging programs are available in a variety of formats, offering over 400 hours of content to inspire the future healthcare heroes of tomorrow.

Join Soccer Shots on the Great Lawn for exciting soccer activities that promise to keep your little ones active and entertained.

In collaboration with the Embassy of Mexico, Kixta Studio, and filmmaker Sebastián Jaiovi, the Festival is proud to present a collection of Mexican animated short films. Screening continuously from 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM in the DARC Microcinema at the Arts Court Building.
